Delaware Extended Unemployment
The unemployment rate in Delaware stands at 8.7%. It can be difficult if you’re one of the people affected by the economy. The federal government has supplied the answer to you in the form of Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC).

It provides for an additional 13 weeks of legislation thanks to Senate Bill 156 that Governor Markell signed into law. These additional weeks of Delaware unemployment insurance benefits extends the maximum time frame you can collect benefits from a maximum of 59 weeks to a maximum of 72 weeks.
In order to file for unemployment benefits in Delaware, you need to go to the closest unemployment insurance claims office. You will need to provide your name, address, and social security card. If you don’t have a social security card, you can use your W2 form or a pay stub with your name and social security number on it along with a photo ID such as your driver’s license. You will also need to supply the names and addresses of your employers for the last 18 months.
